Running DayZ on a mac.

Recommended Posts

Most people say you cant run dayz on a bootcamped imac on mac laptop, you can. my mac is about 3-4 years old with an olldd nvidia graphics card and i can play very well on normal graphics settings and get close to 50fps. mind you i usually only play on fallujah which is a less laggy map, i know on chernarus you will lag ALOT more. anyways just wanted to put it out there that you most likely could play on a mac on maps like lingor or fallujah.

Thanks.

but why would anybody in their right mind buy a mac if they wanted to play games? take the Mac Pro for example, even though you can get it with a 12 core CPU it is still stuck with an extremely shitty ATI radeon hd 5770 1GB... still costs like $4,000 too..

Did i ever say you should by one?

You're saying it's a good laptop and, therefore, indirectly recommending it.

Hello there

Let's keep it on topic folks. Non mac users need not reply.

Macs are great in some areas flawed in others. PC's are great in some areas flawed in others.

Move along please.
