Heli Crash Sites sneaking ever further South

So, last night, me and a friend were making our way Northwest from Cherno, taking our time, looting the smaller villages, and he spots a tell-tale plume of smoke creeping out of the treeline right next to the Western edge of Kozlovka. That's waaaay further South than either of us had ever seen a crash site before. After sitting and watching for a few minutes and trying to work out if the risk/reward was worth it (getting to it required crossing an open field), we gave it a go and sure enough, it was a brand spanking new crash site with a couple of nice weapons (including the fabled AS50).

Anyone else noticed crash sites that far South? I'd never seen one below Msta before that.

I have noticed one or two more South then normal ... the new patch seems to have spread them around a little. The other day I was making a run up the Khlem hill to see if the ATVs were there and maybe get an extra tent or two. I approach the hill from the South and as I near the top I see the plume of smoke.

Looking confused I crested the ridge, only to be confronted with a Helicopter Crash Site on the top of Khlem hill.

Was a total surpise, but a nice Bonus. 2x Tents from the ATVs and some nice shiny weapons from the Crash Site. :)

Take that climate change deniers. Even crash sites, once relegated to the north are migrating southward.

Don't know what to make of this - on one hand it's nice to know that you don't have to walk for an hour to even have a chance of accidentally stumbling across a decent weapon that wasn't looted from a corpse. On the other hand, the last thing that the Cherno and Elektro area needs is MORE military-grade weaponry.

Yes that's right we have noticed some new crash sites since the last revamp of crash site spawn system. Some of them was further in south than either of us had ever seen before.

I've seen one really close to Cherno, on a small plain. I guess those places become real deathmatch sites

The only crash sites I've found aren't the normal ones. They seem to look like Black Hawks, but hardly have any good loot if any.

guess it was a bad server. found a weapon called sa61 later too... and a terrorist suit... looked rly nice but.. as written - it was the dayz+ mod... so maybe it was all scripted directly on the server?

i already tagged the server as 'hacked' on my server list in dayz commander. :)

anyway i rly loved to try out the M4A1 CCO SD
