DayZ Standalone Character Creation and Death Question.

I'm just a eager player waiting on Standalone,I got two quick questions for you guys.

• Will there be character creation,such as facial hair,eye color,height,weight,or just skins like the Mod.
  
• and when we die will we lose all of our stuff or will we have to make another character all together.
  
• I never played the Mod,I just really,really love the concept.

Ah, sorry. I didn't think about that answer too much. It's actually neither of them. Rocket said players will be able to find separate clothing items in the game. There will be hundreds of different variations.

You'll only be able to choose your race and gender in the initial release, but more of that will probably come later. Most of the character customization will come in the form of items you find in-game, and your actions. For example, if you kill a lot of dudes and loot their bodies, you may get blood on your clothes or hand.

As for how the customization will work after death... well, this hasn't been talked about yet.
