Steam issue: ArmA 2:OA beta not starting

Got back earlier from a grueling 12 hour shift at work, but felt I needed some chill time. I logged on to steam to start ArmA 2:OA Beta, but it said "missing executable". So I uninstalled, then reinstalled. But to no avail, done this 3 times. It is now saying there was an error updating it "disk read error".

I've ran out of ideas on how to fix this.

I hate steam.
