It's not my problem that you can't survive a stupid sniper on a roof, but all I know is that I can and I did exactly so 2 days ago when 3 bandits were on the Cherno hotel.

Bandits that shoot unarmed players don't add anything important to the game. They aren't in it for loot or for even fun. How much fun do you get out of killing an unarmed player?

This is a horror survival game, SURVIVAL means being able to know it's a dick move to prance in the middle of a cherno road thinking that if there is a roof bandit he won't shoot you. And if they tear down the cherno hotel, what happens? Bandits on the hill, industrial area, hospital, what do you expect devs to do about THAT? Crash 12 more planes into the hills, and buildings above 20 feet tall?

There is already access to the roof via heli. No amount of tweeking will get rid of that.

But I don't think tearing down the Hotel or not adding an interior will do anything for the snipers. Those idiots will do anything to kill unarmed, a blown up tower won't stop them

I know that, but sniper tower has a central view of everything already. The hills at least limit your view to the fronts of the buildings you can see and their roofs.

Am I the only one that doesn't have that much of a problem with the city snipers? It's not hard.. If I see a helicopter on the roof, or hear 12 dead bodies nearby in the fire station, I'm not going to hang around too long and if I do and die, then there's really no one to blame but me.

People snipe into the cities, that's part of the game wether you like it or not. No ones going to cater to you because you're a big Whiney baby.

On another note, I voted yes because I think the multiple floors would add a lot more to the environment of the city, and I also hate n

Following this guy's suggestion of adding multiple levels to the hotel, there would likely be a roof access points. There wouldn't be a heli to tell you where the sniper was. All there would be are flies and bodies. And by then it's too late.

You can hear the flies of dead corpses fairly well from a distance, so you'd get a good enough idea of whether you should continue or not. You also have the opportunity to not loot upper floors, near the sniper on the roof?

Above all, if you're afraid of going into the cities, then don't go into the cities.. It's not exactly rocket science. You can find loot in other parts of chernarus.

Any sniper who knows where the players are going, as referenced by the bodies you mentioned, will see you long before you reach the bodies. And if you're the first victim, tough.

And that exactly why I keep my city looting to Electro.

well in my opinion, there's not ALWAYS going to be some northern jackass who decided to waste his time by coming down to Cherno, just to snipe newbies. Still, if he's sniping out a window, the best thing to do is lead zombies up to him, or just sneak up behind him, shoot him and knock him out, and violate his corpse. No wait even better, take ALL his stuff while he's KO'd, and let him live on with about 200 blood left.
