Yes for you wish for the Hotel in Cherno to have an interior, and No for it not to.

I personally would like to have it, because i'd have a nice small room I could blockade and store some loot in. Add a nice boiler room and household loot, like maybe a hatchet on the wall, food types on the table..etc etc.

Not sure whether to vote "yes" or "no"... I'd love to see it, but it would kill my frames.

Although I could see it killing some FPS around the area (maybe not, I may be wrong) I would love to see that. I vote yes.

I can just see it now...

Getting a group together, barricading all the entrances and sniping on different floors. Oh gawd.

@gews

DayZ is supposed to be less "laggy" in the standalone for us PC fanatics...i'm sure Dean won't let us down.

I'm just gonna go with "yes" on principle, because I would like to see it hardware notwithstanding.

I hope the building is dark and scary to search at night all alone, would make it so much more intense while playing at night. To make it even scarier, make it look condemned and to top it all off search it with a thunderstorm in the pitch black of night.

CS is kinda right...searching an abandoned hotel in the middle of the night in a zombie apocalypse in a town where theres ALWAYS someone in it would be scary..hey why aren't more people voting? Only 7 votes and there's like 23 views? tsk tsk tsk

No, too many cherno snipers already. The less there are the better off we are.

Someone's scared :P

Let's get some more votes!

I assumed it was going to have an interior in standalone. I doubt it would be done for the mod.

Solution: if you're IN the building you can't get sniped unless you decide to walk up behind a bandit and tap him on the shoulder. So unless bambies decide to tap shoulders you should be fine.

Either way, it'd be cool.

Just another thought that came to mind:

Maybe something like a small security room where you can find somewhat decent guns that you would find on someone working for a private security company; pistols, shotguns, etc.

And if someone is camping the city from the roof? Solution: Enter one of the 21,000 buildings in the standalone, or DON'T GO INTO THE BIGGEST AND MOST POPULATED CITY ON THE MAP. People get sniped in Cherno and go into complete shock wondering why a sniper would be in the biggest city on the map.

Not scared, tired of some dude that's camping a large city and shooting newspawns. If you add more spots that cater to these sniper douches, why not just let players spawn in with DMRs?

Sniping is part of the game. PVP is part of the game. Without the chance of getting sniped or being killed by another player, the game would be a totally different experience and less fun I would think. Sure, if it were a real life scenario where the existence of the human race was at stake people may not kill each other as much as on DayZ, but it'd still happen. There's always those kind of people that only care about benefiting themselves.

cmon people, the problems you are saying to me can be solved by common sense: Sniper in city? don't go to city. if you're on a lower floor and a sniper is on a higher floor of the Hotel, he doesn't have supervision so he won't see you through 12 floors. If you're stupid enough to waltz into Cherno prancing in the street which I know alot of you bambies do, then that's your problem.

That's not a solution. All that does it get you closer to the sniper, who almost certainly has an AR in his pack. You can't play the game hiding in a building.

What you're saying is that if there's a sniper in an area that caters to snipers, why have an area at all that would do that, and why have it on the coast? Why not put a second Cherno in the middle of the map, where the players going in and out at least have a chance?

It's not my problem that you can't survive a stupid sniper on a roof, but all I know is that I can and I did exactly so 2 days ago when 3 bandits were on the Cherno hotel.

It seems that people are just wanting things to be easier... I usually don't have a problem in larger cities and that's because I actually scout out the area for a while before making a move, stick close to buildings (unless in a IDGAF mood), and don't draw attention.

If you walk down the main road of Cherno in an Idgaf mood it STILL doesn't mean theres always gonna be a sniper on the roof. Yes the picture of the plane crash IS the Cherno hotel infact, but it doesn't mean that our best friend Dean can't fix it.
