HORRIBLE Experience

I've tried for the past 4ish hours to get this working with no avail. I've uninstalled both versions of Arma 2, reinstalled them, patched the beta, extracted all necessary files to /@Dayz/Addons, run DayZBeta.cmd and it doesn't even open. When I open Combined Operations through steam I can't join 1.7.1.1 servers EVEN THOUGH I HAVE THAT CODE IN MY ADDONS FOLDER.

I am so unbelievably frustrated that I'm trying diligently to not swear in this post. :@

Can you try and re-write your postso it's easier to understand, and forget the dayzbeta.cmd

LVG Thanks some of this (the downloading the patch from arma 2 and then updating 6 fixed my problem thanks a bunch!!!

Now if only the servers will go ahead and update to 7.1.1 most are still at 7.1

When you click filter type 1.7.1.1 that should clear out all the others servers.

No problem and a lot of servers are hanging at 1.7.1 due to the bugs, hosts such as my self are waiting for the next hot fix
