Raider (DayZ) 47 Posted February 16, 2013 Thats whats good about dayz, you can choose to be in 3rd or 1st person, much like fallout games, elder scrolls etc (which i love) if they removed 3rd person for removed 1st i think the game would take a big hit. dallas 5195 Posted February 18, 2013 I hope BI's reasonable approach will continue into the standalone, although it seems like Rocket disagrees with it and wants to place limitations on the ability to switch between first and third person on the fly with a key stroke. I'm perfectly okay with admins being able to enforce minimum difficulty settings, I just don't think we need to place obstacles the other way around.It's never been illegit to switch between 1st and 3rd person and I really don't see the need to place obstacles for third person servers now. Siberian (DayZ) 527 Posted February 18, 2013 i havent heard anything to make so i beleive that 1st/3rd person option will be removed.i fully suspect SA will continue to offer servers running 1 or both options.this way no customers are left out.there are plenty of paying customers who prefer 1 option or the other.
