Quickest way to achieve hero skin?

After about 2-3 weeks of playing everyday on BMRF I finally reached my hero skin. I did it by causally helping survivors I met through my adventure throughout Chernarus. I was just wondering if there is an extremely fast way. Besides sitting in a main city helping every single soul. I was thinking of starting the BMRF Medic Squad.

It's best to find a group, when my clan was going for hero skins whoever wanted one would be our dedicated medic until they got it, then we would switch to the next one. It might take a few days to get all the way there still, especially depending on how often people need transfusions (if you are constantly at the airfield or in cities it will go much quicker than if you stick to smaller towns) but it is definitely quicker than helping randoms in cherno or elektro.

Join a medic group, as mentioned, don't just shoot your mate over and over again, it's called being crap at DayZ and it is an exploit

Any asshole that does this doesn't deserve the hero skin. It's supposed to be hard to get. That way bandits don't go around screwing with people's heads.

The hero skin is a status icon that you helped society in some way. Not used an exploit to get it in 5 minutes when other people have waited hours trying to get it legit, putting their life on the line to earn it.

Exploiting is almost as bad as scripting/cheating in my book. Not good. Not good at all.

OP probably didn't have he skin and you helped him to get it easily and exploiting the game. I speak for all the honest heroes when I say: Thank you.
