_Anubis_ (DayZ) 139 Posted February 13, 2013 It is broken in 1.7.5.1 - you can still abort no matter what.The icon can be used as a kind of RWR: it flashes for example if you have aggro'ed a Zombie and he is coming toward you, even if you have not yet seen him._Anubis_ Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
herrjon 478 Posted February 13, 2013 It's your combat meter. When it flashes it means your in combat and you can't abort, and if you quit out you die. Since the latest patch, I either haven't quite figured it out, or it's rather buggy. It now flashes when you shoot, get shot, get agroed, eat drink, apply meds, etc, yet in some cases you can still abort fine. You also can't log out within about 10m of another player.
