Help?

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, I couldn't find a better place for it.

Recently, I found a way to turn DayZ into a mission file for ArmA II: OA (Practically it's a single player version). Anyways, I'm wanting to edit the DayZ version of Chernarus so that it has certain buildings, spawns, etc. Although, due to it being in a mission instead of a server/hive, I'm not to sure about how I could get it to work. I've tried editing the mission, but that doesn't seem to work, or I'm doing it wrong. Any assistance would be appreciated to help out with this.

Note;

1. I'm not sure about giving away the mission file.

2. I'm a complete n00b when it comes to the ArmA map editor.

3. Any typed tutorials is highly appreciated (I'm currently on my phone and would rather not use up my data usage looking at videos).

TL;DR I have a mission file, I want to edit the map, I have down syndrome when it comes to the map editor. Help?

You might find people a little more willing to help if you're willing to play nicely with others.

I'm not really sure about the whole copyright thing, since it's Rocket's creation, and all that is messed with is that it turns into a mission. I'd be glad to try and give it away as long as nothing bad goes down lol.
