Udak 104 Posted February 10, 2013 10 Second Explanation: LETS MAKE THE MALE PLAYERS GROW BEARDS BASED ON HOW MANY DAYS THE CHARACTER HAS BEEN ALIVE.Backstory: I've played a little "Don't Starve" on steam recently, and one of its game mechanics is beard growth over a period of days. I think it'd be a fun thing to incorporate (not the meat totems or anything--just beards), a series of gradually lengthening beards lets you know how old the dude you just killed was. Since most people don't live beyond a few days, could probably make beard growth quick for days 1-10 (until you get a single-fist beard[seriously, make a fist and place your thumb at the bottom of your chin. HOW DID YOU NOT GET THAT]), then a slower progression to ZZ-Top levels. To avoid creating more problems, you could likely just incorporate it into existing head models (no need for the hair to move in the breeze, it's a beard!). End result is people using beard length as an impromptu public e-peen meter, which I'm all about--also, beard stroking motion would be appreciated...could probably move it to scroll lock (or something equally esoteric) after actual e-peen gets moved off scroll lock because, jeez, no one has a scroll lock anymore. And no, women chars wouldn't grow beards, nor can I think of a reasonable alternative. I would offer shaving to other players also, I could run a barber shop in Electro.Just be carefull of those axe men, they are always a close shave.
