Constant 'cannot play/edit this mission' errors

Greetings.

I've been playing DayZ for a while now and in the last two days I've got the 'Cannot play/edit this mission, data is deleted etc. etc.' and I cannot for the life of me figure out why this is the case. DayZ worked fine a few days beforehand when suddenly bam. I've tried reinstalling DayZ three times, I've tried repatching ARMA2 through DayZ Commander, I've even reinstalled both ARMA2 and OA, patches and all as well as the mod itself and I still get this bloody error message.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

The only mod I've installed for OA or ARMA2 is DayZ. I'm running the most recent version of DayZ Commander and that's all.

What shows up in the error message is dayz_vehicles, dayz_code, dayz_weapons and dayz_equip.

Okay cause i get those messages to mainly cause im using the r mod but im still able to play the servers but sometimes i just need to go out of the game and join the game again before i can start playing

But since your not running any special mod maybe you by fault have deleted something in your steam-steamapps-common-arma2 operation arrowhead-dayz :)

I don't think that's likely. Aside from when I uninstalled DayZ to reinstall it I've not been in the steam folder for OA or ARMA2 at all

Just checked, it's missing the dayz_ext.pbo.dayz.bisign file

Okay so now we know what the problem is and i have just searched google for the file and i able to find it but im not sure its the real file or just some fake virus

Any chance you could put the file up on dropbox?

Uhm not really but do you use six laucher or dayz commander cause i just read that six launcher is a bit bugged with that file ur missing

But Honest im a bit confused that you are missing the file without installing another file or have deleted it yourself

im sorry but i cant do much more right now but im gonna check up on it and write you back if i get an answer for it :)

Downloaded the file from 4shared.com and put it in the @DayZ Addons folder but it still doesn't work :/

I hope you scanned it with your anti virus before you oppened the file cause it might be a fake :/

Downloaded, extracted the file, overwrote the one I downloaded on its own. Still won't work. Only difference now is that I actually get the popup instead of a brief glimpse at the error message in the bottom left of the screen before it takes me back to the main menu

I'm at my wits end with this. I've tried reinstalling everything, I've tried restarting Steam, my laptop, validated ARMA2 and OA files dozens of times, played ARMA2 and OA for a couple hours each before trying to install the mod again but no, it still gives me the same goddamn error message before taking me to the main menu which, I might add, shows nothing but blank ocean. Specs are as follows:

Windows 7 Home Premuim

Intel® Core™ i5-2450M CPU @ 2.50GHz, 2501 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)

8.00 GB RAM

Intel® HD Graphics Family graphics card (that's all I could find on that front)

EDIT:

Had another few cracks at it and it does work. Some reason it won't allow me to join the server I frequented (which was a private server) through DayZ Commander, every other server works. Guess I'll just have to find a new place. Problem solved more or less. Case closed.
