Gutting animal, agro everything, trough walls, aka everything inside 200m+ radius

Devs should add a death-shriek to cows when you kill them (to other animals too!). "MUUUUoooAAAUUAAUAUAUAAAARRRRGHLLLllrrrrghhh.." that could be heard from abt 500m away :D

They already implemented it, you just don't hear it :D

Dude, I don't think chopping and gutting an animal is totaly silent.

I would definately hear that, even 100 m away from you, well it's the same for infected people.

100m you say, youre so full of crap you make the golgothan from Dogma look like a daffodil. no freakin way you are gonna hear someone slicing up a dead animal with a knife from more than 5-7m away unless they start hacking away at the bones

I didn't know about this one. Certainly needs to be done away with or dropped down to below 5 to 10m. The repairs and trap placement makes sense, thats noisy work, but gutting an animal isn't really that much noise and seems like a weird mechanic to add. I know the infected are being changed to make them more threatening, but this is getting abit silly lol

Even if tweaked the hearing things, the "80 meter zed talk" thing will cause a chain reaction (as always) and bring a huge fucking zombie horde at you.

I had a pretty funny moment today, I spawned at Pridoroki and looted the farm. I aggroed one zombie, so I just sprinted away from there. Then, when I look back, I see at least 40 zombies shambling over the hill.. I decided to have some fun and shot my Lee-Enfield a couple of times. I tried to lure the horde to Cherno, but they started despawning.

Well for now i have started to take a lee einfield out with me hunting, if that thing dont agro any zeds the area is perfectly safe. If i allert any players, so well atleast they come after i'm done gutting the damn thing so i can shoot back. About the animation thing, do anyone know if they can code that so we can abort the thing?

I think we can all agree zombie sound aggro is a bit wonky.

I can stand 80m away from one and unload my entire M16 without it noticing while a player can here it from a much greater distance.

Well my i think of zombies like this, because they start do rot, their bodies functions also degrade, aka it works that players can hear stuff from a greater distance than zombies. As for them smelling the blood? I may be speaking out of my ass here, but a human can't generally smell fresh blood for more than a couple of meters.(as this is out in the wilds)
