ChassePatrick 0 Posted February 7, 2013 I hope the person who this involves reads this.I know I probably wont get many responses for this as it is a pretty standard event. However today I was playing as I normally do, loot survive avoid players try and fix up a car, etc. etc. As you know this can get quite boring.Anyway I did the standard thing when you have no gun and went to a barn, at this point I hear a few flies... Being dark I thought it would be safe. so I investigate.. He had an MP5 few bandages and nothing much of note... he was a bandit so I thought there might be another body nearby and I entered the building to the side. It was one of those long barns, at that moment I catch a light... Now this is where it turns around for me, I had to leave so I considered logging. But I didn't, that's when the heart started pounding... He walked RIGHT past me as I lay in the pitch black barn... I was surprised he didnt see me... I rolled closer to the body as he was checking it over. Heart was pounding, Adrenaline PUMPING. I have shot at bandits and players in return before, I have been killed. My graphics is pretty shit so i don't tend to pvp... This was different, I was the hunter, he was the prey.Now normally I would have hid somewhere, he was using a flash light, which gave me plenty of time to shoot him if he spotted me. But I took a good look at him... He had a big gun on his back... I couldn't tell at first, but it was a DMR... How did he get one of those... Then I got closer and realise he was a bandit... I immediately thought danger. What happened next was stupid, I aimed at the head with my mp5. I pulled the trigger, again and again... He was long dead. My heart was still pumping. I was shaking.It didn't last though... The gunshots were heard/seen by another player... I was shot at at least 300m by a player with a sniper. A very good shot. But wow. I had a surprise moment like that going to Stary Sobor, I was back on public server, first I've done that in a long time, got my way to the trees above the tents, scouted out the place and saw a few zombies. I couldn't remember how far it was that zombies spawned, so even checking out everything with my CZ50, but I kept to the trees. I then move to the trees directly north of the tents and the pavement slab, when I nearly walked into a bandit. He was looking at the tents, not to his right, where I was like 20 feet away, so I just played it really safe, proned behind a a tree. He then proned up and I was able to shoot him in the back and get some supplies off him.Adrenaline was pounding, I got some ammo from the tents, and made it out of Stary on a populated server no problem.
