No more flies on dead bodies?

Last night I played DayZ for the first time with the new 1.7.5.1 patch. I noticed a lot of changes, but one of them I didn't see mentioned in the changelog which is that it appears dead bodies do not, immediately at least, attract flies. Has anyone else noticed this or can confirm it? I'm assuming if this is actually part of the patch that it's designed to make dead players much harder to find.

Its a glitch, it happened to me when i found 2 dead bodys in elektro but heard no flies, although it works most of the time, try relogging or restarting your client.

Flies works for me, Sometimes I hear the flies and the bodies have disappeared. Maybe I mutilate my victims too much...

Reason I ask is because I watched FrankieonPC's newest DayZ video and noticed that there were no flies on dead bodies either when he played, and I'm pretty sure he was recording with the new patch installed.

I've watched all of frankie's dayz videos, and they all have flies around his bodies. Also all his 26 episodes are older than the latest patch.

Personally I've noticed flies buzzing around every body I've found since I started playing.

The only times I've heard flies buzzing was around the permanent dead bodies, like the soldiers dead at an airfield, etc. I never heard flies around someone I just killed.

Never really noticed either way, I'll keep a look out and post back my findings in the coming days

Playing latest patch and died today.

Went in search of my dead body and knew I was close when I heard those buzzing flies

So yes it's still there and supposed to happen

Yep, still, no buzzing flys. A bit of a disappointment, but its whatever, if someone finds how to fix it it would be appreciated. Its like the fly noise is completely removed from the game for me.
