You know how there is nuclear super storms in namalsk, right? How about having bombings? Sirens will start and you have 5 minutes to find a bomb shelter. The sirens will also alert zombies and they will start walking in to the area. The bombings will happen randomly across the map. When the 5 minutes are up, you will see bomber planes flying and they will destroy everything. The bombings will last at least 30 seconds.

Saying that where DayZ is set, the-unknown virus has wiped out 95% of the worlds population, I don't think its possible.
