AS50/M107 Fix

Recommended Posts

Um. Let's not make all snipers one hit kills... okay? Now let's start using our brains and the public information on this little thing here we call the internet.

AS50 is an Anti-Material Rifle using Anti-Material rounds. There's different types of Rounds like "Cop Killers" stronger and able to pierce through Tactical Vest, Kevlar, etc. So an Anti-Material round doing the same (maybe a little more damage) then stand rifles like the M24 but doing more damage to vehicles seems a bit more logical to me.

Honestly don't know what else to put here, but I don't think I post should only be a quote. But I basically summed it up there.

I don't get it... I don't see how an armour piercing round would do less damage to a person but more to vehicles. Sounds like balancing to me...

Seriously, if so many people have a problem with the 50s? Get rid of the damned things entirely!

Just don't implement unrealistic balancing schemes is all I ask.

Well it depends on the standard bullets. Some bullets shatter into little pieces on impact causing internal bleeding and obviously worse for surgery. Assuming the .50 aren't Incendiary or Explosive it would still do the same amount of damage but the .50 is obviously bigger so to scale it'd have a better chance of hitting internal organs and blah blah.

It depends on the bullet... but a 12.7x99mm round is not going to do the same amount of damage as a 7.62. Look at a video of deer shot with a 750-grain A-MAX... disemboweled.

I understand, I really guess it'd be up to the decision of Rocket for the bullets. So, yeah. Let's just remove them.
