How to cook food?

Just updated and killed a pig. When I lit a fire with the raw bacon in my inventory, it doesn't give me the option to cook it anymore.

Is there a new way to cook food or something? I'm starving to death and I refuse to eat raw meat wtf.

Scroll the mouse wheel it should say cook meat ? if not try another fire sorry never seen this issue before good luck

Of course I used the mouse wheel. I've tried 7 different fires, and none of them give me the option to cook meat. Have YOU tried it after updating yet?

Try right click? abort and then come back?

Try dropping the meat from your gear and picking it back up

I have cooked mutton, but not bacon. I read another thread about someone not being able to cook. Maybe the issue is bacon right now. Mutton is okay though.
