DayZ 1.7.5.1 update/new map problem(s)

i'm not sure if this has been asked before, but ever since i updated 1.7.5.1, i've been experiencing MAJOR lag. i don't know if this is involved, but whenever i load up a server now, it uses the regular Arma 2: OA screen. it still lets me log in and play. i get in, everything's normal. but every 3 seconds it freezes up for a few seconds. then it's normal speed, then it stops.

either it's the new update, or it's because i've downloaded Namalsk. i downloaded Namalsk last night and i haven't played Chernarus since i downloaded it. that could be the problem also. help me?

I've heard that there are problems with other maps and some communities have to take those servers down until it's fixed.

I'm having this same issue. Game runs normally then freezes/lag spikes for a few seconds, then back to normal. Can't really play while it's doing this. Bummer
