Shameless plug. Me and 2 other guys have ported the Arma 1 Map Sahrani to DayZ. It's in Beta but 100pct playable.

On to the cheaters who I didn't have time to keep an eye on (There MAY be 1 or MAYBE 2 false positives, but if they are they emptied tents FULL of good stuff REALLY FAST) AT LEAST 85pct of these spawned 100's of mags or items... Mt. Dew is flowing like water on my server:

EDIT flwg player has claimed innocence: c22bd2d2d07c52aaaa34f60dbd688519 I have temp lifted his server ban and will investigate his story sounded believable off the bat so trust it was an erroneous ban I will review the logs to be sure once I have a chance but don't want to block anyone out who's legit and certainly don't want others doing so.

I literally thing a couple of them run some kind of network... it seems like several teams were hopping on and mass spawning ammo...

I almost think they set it up as store or something... WHy would you spend 1hr building a HUGE supply of crap you can't poss. use that day much less in a month....

Other admins, I have pulled one of the bans based on the email sent alone, it was believable I will review it when I get a chance but it sounded very legit.

Removed from list on first post and noted the GUID in the "EDIT"

Bottom of the list ammo spawners (first 4-10 MIGHT be errors I am normally REALLY over aggressive and wait for innocents to approach (and I normally ONLY post the terrible hackers here)... pretty much ALL the others above that were totally insane spawned more than 5 of the same item in the same second AT LEAST so meet my normal criteria for reporting here)

I definately was pissed and over banning in the beginning... ONLY people in the bottom 10-15 or so are iffy... after that it's all 100pct clear. I've gotten a couple emails but I also boned my server trying to FTP update to the latest version... so I don't have time to look at it now.... Sorry all.

I think you may be reading your logs wrong. At 1st glance the stuff can look fishy, but ends up being legit. I noticed you banned someone for "seagull" That is not a hack, its a glitch that happens when the person fails to load in correctly, and spawns as a seagull (createvehicle script restric. #1)

I've watched someone move fast across the map and kill someone and the only entry in the logs for that player was seagull... I guess that was the log in and log off not the actual fast travel???

Is there a dumbass's guide to log interpretation I think I need that... I generally try to only ban for crazy repetitive clear cheating like 20+mags showing up in the same second.

I don't get the purpose of logging seagull if it is NEVER a cheat?

Oh but for the record seagull shows up VERY rarely in my createvehicle log so I don't get how every player would go through it on log in and out... the ONLY people I've ever seen show up with seagull in create vehicle have had other entries for their GUID in other logs that looked suspicious...

Had a pretty good system down before the 26 jan BE filter updates then I haven't had time to look into the new sripts or logs so I'm kind of flying blind lol...

More important things to focus on.... Only a flight away my ass.
