so i started playing on a private server and found this awesome Humvee but i am starting to run low on ammo and was wondering if i could possible get more for military loot areas. it is a .50 cal so i highly doubt it but might as well ask

Nope, you're not gonna find more ammo unless the server also has spawns of repair trucks / ammo trucks. Not sure exactly how you resupply a vehicle or from which truck, but I know it's one of the two.
