Honestly, I think a light tank (or any kind of tank for that matter) would become some what overpowered in DayZ.

Just doesn't really fit in the atmosphere, in my opinion.

I agree, an vehicle with some armor plates and an machine gun would be an better idea.

Isn't the game military enough as it is. Why the sudden need for armored vehicles?

Something like the vehicles in the Aftermath dlc for BF3? I'm kind of undecided about that, although, passengers being able to shoot out of the moving car with a small arms weapon would be kind of cool.
