Hello i just found this mod and thought i would introduce myself. I am hoping to start a merry band of survivors. We wont be bandits but also not afraid to get our hands dirty if we need to (or really really want that guys car). I have steam and TS, vent, mumble, skype ect. good to meet the DayZ community. :D

Finally found time/motivation to play this mod today, and that was pretty much how it went.

Spawned east of Cherno, figured I'd head to Prigorodky, scrounge what I could, then head north into the wild. Made it to Prigo, found a few items, then

*HEADSHOT*

Scared the sh-t out of me! They were far away, too, as the report came well over one second after the strike. Nice shot, whoever you are.

Honestly, I don't think this mod would interest me if it were just zeds out there trying to kill me. The uncertainty of player interactions is far more compelling, IMO. Great mod.
