Need a good public server with very little hacking and many players.

So I got into DayZ about 6 weeks ago and ever since I have been playing on a private hive server I found the entire time. After having put in a good 40-60 hours on the server I have decided to give up, the admin respawns 200+ perfect condition vehicles every week and he has bases called FOB's which contain crates filled with doezens of rare weapons and tens to hundreds of clips for each of them. It was not fun, it ruined the entire purpose of DayZ being about survival, I wasted my time completely.

So I want a really nice server to play in where I can expect more than 20 players on at once and plenty of banditry going on. Give me some recommendations.

Billy Mays Remembrance Foundation has the highest quality servers, and soon even more so upgrading to (900 dollars a month server costs) but it is a very competitive community meaning there are a lot of bandits who have been playing for a long time. It is whitelisted and rarely encounters hackers. The hive is also interconnected with its multiple servers so if one is full you can easily use the next with same character.

If you manage to find one, keep it a deep, dark secret. Because such a place is so rare that everyone on Dayz will swarm and you will not be able to find an open slot.

You can always just find a legit private hive community (not one of the many, many upstarts that last a month and then die out). Try out Balota Buddies. Been around for quite some time and we have multiple servers.

I'm afraid that having lots of players, and few hackers are not something that go together. Hackers target big servers, and all anti-hax do nothing until the damage is done, ie. the whole server being killed.

Balota Buddies was probably the best I've been on so far though. I only played on there for a few weeks because most of the admins need a reality check, but I encountered a hacker only once in the weeks I was on there. The server was always at atleast 50 players when I was on as well.

Admins are human just like everyone else... but if they're doing something that affects your ability to play (harassment or otherwise) you really ought to consider submitting a player report on the BB site. Balota Buddies has a hierarchical structure and most of the admins you'll be dealing with in game have to answer to a different head moderator/server admin. The head moderators / server admins are some of the most objective, honest people I've met and they will take care of any problems for you.

But there's nothing that can be done if you don't submit a report. The mod team isn't psychic.
