DayZ Standalone Sales Model

Recommended Posts

I have looked for the answer some time now but can't find it, does it go like this. What Minecraft-like sales model means? DayZ standalone arrives to Steam and it will cost 15 euros, and even after that you need to pay for updates? Or is it like that we don't need to pay for alpha, beta and these updates but when it is full version we need to pay for it again? Or do we need to pay for it just once. If someone knows how it will go please answer me.

You pay once

Much less in the alpha

higher price later

at least that was the idea all the time

You just pay once, if you purchase it early it will be cheaper, slowly as more things are added to it (daily/weekly updates) the price will increase.
