Anyone know of a external DayZ map marker.

I once remembered someone in my clan had a external map from a site that you can mark loot spot and other people can mark on it to if they knew the URL for. Anyone know where I can find the site for that external map marker.

http://dayzdb.com/map - Click "Controls" then "Link to this" grab the URL and send it to others.

Yeah, DayZDB is your best point for getting loot spots around the general area.

But honestly, once you know the map, you really don't need it afterwards.

Perhaps he is using it for clan tents, clan vehicles etc

I have a galaxy tab on my desk with the dayzdb map running when i play, makes such a difference (once you remember your log out location :P)
