Dayz commander not installing

Recommended Posts

For some reason dayz commander stopped working for me so i deleted it and tried re-installing it but before the installer finishes a box pops up saying "The older version of Dayz Commander cannot be removed.Contact your technical support group"

Any thoughts?

Uninstall and delete the folder (where-ever you've installed it to)

I'd use a program, such as cCleaner to wipe old registry entries, logs, data and..stuff. ^_^

-edit. When in doubt..restart your PC

Ok so im gonna put some details here :P

Dayz commander was working just fine until one day its like it erased some files so i couldnt uninstall it so i deleted the folder, then i tried to reistall it. Didnt work out...

So now i have done the following things

1) Deleted every dayz commander file i could find in my hard drive(plus the appdata thing you mentioned)

2) Used CCleaner

3) Searched the registry with the following keys "Dayz", "Commander","Dotjosh" and cleared everything it discovered

and still the same window pops up at the installation!
