Render Setting for YouTube?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I'm wondering what render settings you guys use when rendering out a DayZ video in Vegas or Premier.

I've tried a number of different codecs for WMV and MP4 but I can't seem to find a way to get a decent picture without having a massive file size.

Anyone have any ideas?

I'm a little curious how Windows Movie Maker packages their HD 1080p files because they come out beautiful and relatively small. I recently switched to Premiere CS6 and it looks like shit unless I'm willing to crank up the file size to the digital equivalent of my anus.

I'll do some experiments with Premiere later today and I'll let you know what I find.

This is what i use for Sony Vegas Pro 10

Type: Sony AVC (*.mp4;*.m2ts;*.avc)

Frame size: High Definition (1280x720)

Profile: Baseline

Entropy Coding: CAVLC

Frame Rate: 29,970 (NTSC)

Field Order: None (Progressive scan)

Pizel Aspect ratio: 1,000

Bit Rate (bps): 20 000 000

Encode Mode: ( Automatic )

The reason i use AVC format, is because the file size will be pretty small.

Hope this help.
