Kanide 5 Posted January 27, 2013 Ok, so i was playing dayz, packing up for the night, and i had to find a way to hide my bright blue Van, great. Then an idea struck me, what if you could customize or paint your car so it could have a camo paint job?OR, you could find ghille nets that you could throw over the car? Or maybe instead, you could set up a tent thing from the ghillie net to park your car in? (Ghillie net tent things, curently are only scenery, and can be found i think in Cherno)I have heard rumors of vehicle customization in the DayZ Standalone, but i think ghillie nets would be a really cool that could help people like me, strugglin to hide a bright blue van in the forest.
Mos1ey 6301 Posted January 27, 2013 Rocket has mentioned vehicle customisation. Not sure exactly what his plans are as of yet though. I agree though, some way of disguising them would be nice.

kieran.thorpe88@gmail.com 12 Posted February 5, 2013 (edited) bringing this fucker back from the dead as its touching on a great idea, after watching the new video blog, all i keep thinking is i need to know more about how they will improve making camps hiding vehicles etc etc. Was thinking being able to bury little caches of food etc if you have the entrenching tool, better wayys to disguise cars ie camo nets, being able to chop ferns to cover cars etc.Main thing i see as the problems is the way the terrain features grass etc draw as you move further away would really like to see this looked into. anybodyelse anything to add suggest, comment / slag this off?**EDIT**Id also like the forest to be thicker, more low level foliage and denser tree cover etc Edited February 5, 2013 by Evertos
