sbats 3 Posted June 18, 2012 Veteran players of the Arma series would be well aware of the difficulty driving your tank.. I mean player through doorways, stairs and generally around any object within the game, consistently being interrupted by the thick layer of industrial invisi glue that halts your mega awesome flow of indoors engagements. Thus brings me to an awesome modification that was submitted on Armaholic at approximately 18:55 during fifth day of the eleventh month in 2010 that scraps that tank syndrome, breaks down that glue and allows your now smooth ass to cruise through buildings like a bullet to an apple.I present to you ShackTac Movement - brought to you by the mysterious Rg - conquering buildings and improving your battle strength since 2010, tested during wartime in Chernerus, Takistan, Codename Desert, Lagabad and that dang island Utes. The next 100 readers can get a sneak preview of this mod via this link! Click Now! http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=12540With no conflicting issues disrupting any other mod, allowing an easy flow of movement, why wouldn't you? ShakTac Movement, saving your arse in buildings everywhere! But seriously, incorporate this mod or something alike otherwise a zombie will eat your face, again and again, and again, and again, again. Mine truely,Stabs. <----- this guy is awesome!

sbats 3 Posted June 18, 2012 At this time no mods are allowed, so incorporation is key young padawan.
Private Poptarts 23 Posted July 2, 2012 Seems interesting... wiggling every time the door is less than 40 meters wide is a pain :DWould this work if installed? Or would the server kick one out, or even better, ban? I have no knowledge of these things so... someone more enlightened, please enlighten us.
karkus (DayZ) 1 Posted July 2, 2012 Needless to say this needs implementing.
SepticTank 1 Posted July 2, 2012 A thousand times YES.I never thought that lowering your weapon, side-stepping, and raising it as soon as your right or left shoulder cleared the doorway would be so difficult, even in real life! Thanks, DayZ, you reminded me that every door has sticky, fly trap paper. KWilt 157 Posted July 3, 2012 Bringing these two back up. Over 12 hours is a reasonable bump, I would hope.
SystemiK 366 Posted July 3, 2012 At this time no mods are allowed' date=' so incorporation is key young padawan.[/quote']Yes, ST_movement can be downloaded as a mod. However all the mod IS, is a couple of changes in the Arma 2 .cfg file. All the mod is doing is changing these settings for you (something you could easily do yourself) but the problem is that these changes also have to be allowed server side which will require dev input. No one has any rights to .cfg settings. This can easily be incorporated into dayz with no repercussions whatsoever from a legal standpoint. The amount of time to do so should only be a matter or minutes for the devs.
