Noob question. Logging.

How do I log off from the session without loosing my place and gear on the server I am on?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Just disconnect from the server.

Everything is automatically saved.

(Make sure to connect to the same server, though. To play it safe.)

Their is two kinds of servers

Public Servers - these are all linked to the maindayz hive and save cross server, so your location and gear will be the same no matter what server you log onto, these are usually identified by a number sucj as US10 or UK22 etc as well as have dayzmod.com in the title

Private Hives/Servers - These only save your gear and location to that specific server, they are not linked to the main public hive, they run their own private hives.

So make sure you write down the name and/or the IP of the server you play on! :)

if you´re using DayZ Commander to launch the mod; there is tab named "Recent" that lists up your recent server in historical order so you don´t need to write the server name down
