Receiving Error Addon 'dayz_anim' requires addon 'CAMisc_fix'

I just bought Arma2 and Arma2 Operation Arrowhead from Amazon, and downloaded both Play withSIX and DayZ commander. Whenever I attempt to join a DayZ server on either one I always receive the same error message "Addon 'dayz_anim' requires addon 'CAMisc_fix'" and then when Arma2 opens, it tells me something about a long list of my addons not being compatible with the server key or something. Anyway, and help would be appreciated.

Nope, I download Arma2 Combined Ops from Amazon which is just Arma2 and Arma2 Op Arrowhead, downloaded those 2 installers and tried each one separately and ended up with the same error.

Have you run the game on it's own first?

I had problems initially myself and this worked for me.

And, this is very important, when I bought the game on amazon I did not receive an icon called "Arna2 Combined Ops" I got one called "Launch ARMAII" and one called "Arrowhead" does this matter?

What version shows when you start Arrow Head ?

Have you updated to the latest official Build ?

I currently have Operation Arrowhead at version 1.59.79384 and ArmaII at version 1.06.70710

ok download tthe operation arrowhead beta from steam. you shouldn't have to play them just running them did it for me.

I don't know about the combined ops icon, I bought arma 2 and operation arrowhead separately.

Try clicking install/update (top right corner of dayz commander) and update dayz and arma 2.

Unfortunately I don't have my ArmaII on Steam, so that won't work. How do you perform that operation assuming that I do not have the files on steam?

I copied the AddOns folder from ArmaII to OA manually and it STILL didn't fix the problem.

Oh dear me, when the patch says "Game version 1.60 is required. Your current version is 1.59" does that not set the thinking process in action ?

You have 1.59, so between 1.59 & 1.62 ,,,,,,,1.60 is missing, therefore you need the bridge, in all logic !

Now the problem is that with all your mixing and moving I expect that you have messed up your installation.

My advice is install from scratch, run the game,,, install this patch 1.5 === 1.6 http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=15831

Run the game then install 1.60,,,, 1.62 http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=17252

Run the game, then install the beta (I recommend 100296) http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php
