zombie_humper 1 Posted January 20, 2013 so i know a few ppl go to one server to get gear and then jump into another to go pvp'ing . how do you tell what servers are ok to jump into with the gear you carry? i have tryed a few times to get into a server with my gear but only ended up on the coast. is there something to look out for in the server u go from into the server u want to join? if a server is on a hive do you need to go onto a server on the same hive ? SmashT 10907 Posted January 20, 2013 Tick Hide Unofficial in DayZCommander, private hives are indicated by a cloud icon.

Jok3r (DayZ) 1 Posted January 20, 2013 You're using Six Updater? Should be using DayZ Commander. A lot easier. You can't jump from private hive to private hive because they are not linked together. If you play on the official servers you can do all the jumping you want and keep your gear.

Testwd3r235 2810 Posted January 20, 2013 Why do you want to jump? Just stay on one server. (I prefer six :P)

NoyZ (DayZ) 66 Posted January 20, 2013 (edited) Why do you want to jump? Just stay on one server. (I prefer six :P)I'll server jump if there is a AS50 sniper noob camping out on the tall building in the center of Cherno. Go to another 0 pop server, climb the building and log out between the sign and the little building on the top, log in and 'inch' around using 3rd person till I get eyes on . . they are usually pretty still . . .and give them a clean kill of 1 head shot. Take their good stuff and bury the .50 with them. That's what camping AS50 noobs deserve in my book.@ZH I believe so. It's a survival game. If someone has a sniper, it's getting really hard for you, but that's no reason for cheating. Just get the hell out of there or try to close in cover or from a different direction. I once closed in on some AS50 guy unarmed, climbed up the ladder behind him, approached him silently, took his MP5SD from his backpack and ended that bandit with his own weapon. Really proud of that. No teleporting needed.
