Registration Check

Hey guys,

today I registred my DayZ server here and status says the check is pending... how long will this take?

No, they don't. It's a different staff that does it, they have red names.

If people like this are able to even attempt at hosting a server, I would probably be the god of all hosts..

I am no server host, but I know this bit through a nifty little thing called common sense;

This thread is pointless. You could/would get a faster response by sending a Private Message to the Community Support members.

As mentioned they have red names. To quickly see if any of them are online, go to the mainpage of the forums and scroll to the very bottom, with a long list of users that are online.

And getting a private hive instead of one connected to the DayZ hive would be better for the fact that you won't be restricted in any way as to how you manage your server. It can be outdated if you wish, and you can have modified versions of the DayZ mod on your server. And you can completely rewrite the server rules to your liking. Those are not the only things you can do, but probably the most major ones.
