Do I need Operation Arrowhead Beta to install DayZ?

Hello!

I'm finally getting DayZ (after spending $30, seeing that the download time is 9h 7m, my internet not working, and getting on my laptop ._.)

Since I can't stay up all night waiting for my game to download, I need to know if I need the beta. Thanks!

Did you buy it on Steam? And if by Beta do you mean the other game right below Operation Arrowhead that says Operation Arrowhead beta you do not need to install that. In-fact just download this http://www.dayzcommander.com/. This will install the Dayz files and the beta patch that is required.

I aint used the one on steam.. not sure what that actually does, I never launch the game through steam anyway, steam was just a way of me getting the game.

I just use dayz commander to update to new beta's.
