hello :(

Recommended Posts

Hello people. So today I bought arma2 from GOG and downloaded dayz commander so i could try this mod out. Got most things up and running except when I try to join a server it tells me my version is wrong? I see it says I have 1.62 but I require 1.62.99515. I'm not even sure what this is referring to as those numbers (as far as i can tell...) don't correspond with anything listed in dayz commander. Any help would really be appreciated so I can try this out :D

Otherwise you can install the beta patches with DayZ Commander.

Did you download the ArmA II OA patch 1.62? You should download and install it first, then the beta-patch like the burrito said above.

Hey man . Just download dayz commander and use that to install dayz and the beta patches . Also you can use it to install the unofficial maps like panthera , Taviana etc . Its a user friendly way to play dayz .

I initially used dayZ commander and downloaded namalask (latest) dayZ (latest) and arma 2 (latest) and had the problem. I noticed the server I was trying to connect to was running a slightly older version of arma2 and so i got dayz commander to download that version and still had the same issue. Following that I posted here and then tried the 1.62 + beta patch with no luck. I'm currently reinstalling arma and will try again from scratch.

Have you tried to join other servers?

Because some servers haven't updated the to the latest Arma patch if am correct.

If this is the problem go to DayZ Commander and on the left you see "Hide wrong Arma2 Version" click the little box,

Now all the servers with wrong arma 2 patch shouldn't show up on your server list.

Hope this help.
