A Tragedy Has Befallen!

Sons and daughters of DayZ, we have gathered here in this thread in congregation to celebrate and mourn the death of a once great server.

It is known, mostly by my friends and I, as 173.192.200.76:3017.

It passed yesterday, the day before a wonderful Panthera server, full of vanilla-ness staying true to the DayZ form, unlike most Panthera servers. Now, today, reborn, it becomes what I'd hoped I would never see. 400 vehicle, 24/7 daylight server on Chernarus.

I ask why. Why, oh why have we lost such a valuable companion to our server listings? So worthy. So apt. Now gone, sucked into the void of noobishness where it lay, thinking adding these things could be such a profitable idea.

Struggling, it is, to find now a server that holds itself to such true standards, not being a public hive.

But it has taught us something in its passing! We must band together, us DayZ players. We must find the servers that still hold true through the madness and we must keep them alive! Slowly, we are losing our servers that seek to provide good-ole-vanilla entertainment! We cannot let them fall through our fingers!

In this thread, post your vanilla, or VERY close to vanilla server addresses/IPs, and the map they are on.

We must not let more tragedies such as this arise. I beg you.

DISCLAIMER: This post is in no way an attempt to start a flame war, and I, the OP, beg you to be civil and kind in your discussions (even though this isn't really supposed to be a discussion thread, I need servers for all maps that I know are good vanilla, because it is seriously taking me hours to find some, then they are shutting down). This is a serious post, the goal to have a list of servers that I, and the part of the DayZ community that would also like servers of this type, can play on. Thank you and have a nice day.

I would have donated, I have a prepaid, but I don't think there was a site, or atleast I didn't see one. Not to mention they did not really ask even in the MotD. I only got 3 hours on that server!

It's safer to assume that since they are now running a new server they have the money, they just turned soft.

We run a mostly vanilla Chernarus (besides the vehicles) server fairly new. All vehicles spawns are custom and like usual will only be on the shore for a short time. We also offer a website to keep in touch with everyone on the server. Oh and its only 2 days old :P

We run a whitelisted private hive based in the UK, we are looking to get a few more players on the server we are currently aiming for 25-30 players daily and are peeking at 20-25 at the minute at 9pm GMT or so.

Our server is a vanilla server and the only modification we have done is to increase/double the zombie count depending on what area of the map you are in. It's nice to see there are still people out there that are looking for a vanilla server!

uk#10 Zombie world has added vechs and a few care packages/wrecks but it really is hardly noticeable or I never find em much! and is a very well run, whitelisted and 99% hacker free popular Chernarus server!

And yes truly vanilla servers are bloody rare these days!

Check the PM I just sent you (also did a post earlier on), not sure if it's vanilla enough though, we like to think it is. The server is more about the survival aspect rather than letting everyone run lose with a gun once they spawn.

Does anyone at Vilayer ever answer people on their teamspeak server? I've been in there for over an hour and nobody is answering my questions. 4 sales people and no answer. Anyway, maybe you can answer me being that you've got a server with them..

Actually on the subject of Vilayer, I went ahead and ordered from them. When I found they didn't have the features I needed they promptly offered me a refund. I like companies that treat people with kindness :)

I run a completely vanilla private hive Chernarus, it struggles along with about 7-8 people on in the evenings. I am doing this for myself, it is my "go to" server when the other non vanilla servers we run get me down. The server restarts every 3 hours, it is veteran, -12GMT, no side chat, no care packages, no additional wrecks, no extra vehicles and nothing but the standard starting gear (patrol pack, flashlight, pain killer, and a bandage)

Since our other server is the main server and usually 20-40 on in the evenings, we don't spend a lot of time on the vanilla server. I personally go on a few hours a week and fumble along wood wookie style but if anyone hollers for an admin I get an alert and do keep an eye on players through gotcha/dart during most playing hours.

The server is 206.190.129.92:3408 you are all free to enter and play anytime you wish it will remain vanilla with or without players.

Was just kinda weirded out. My friend found 1 in Elektro, one outside of Cherno, and I found 2 again in Elektro by the power plant.... Same day, no server restarts in between.

Can you tell me about the server? I'll be on later today, and some in the weekend. I'm looking for a new server since the one that i am currently playing on went straight to hell. I'm looking for some more serious, harder gameplay. Can your server give me that?
