So any word on the patch?

Anyone know anything about the next patch?

Anything I find in Google seems to be 1.5 to 2 months old.No recent info that I can find either on the forums or online. With no standalone and silence on the patch, the natives are getting restless.

It will be released when its ready, you don't want to release something unfinished.

The best place to go for info about the v175 patch is github:

The issues page is probably the most useful: open issues | closed issues to get an idea of what's been happening.

For the latest beta changelog, look for the latest issue with a title in the format: 1.7.5.M1D[number] Dev Build

This week it is '1.7.5.M1D15 Dev Build'.

The milestones page says v175 is 95% finished, and again you can look at open | closed milestones for some history.

I don't know how many closed servers are testing v175 beta, but I can only see one open server listed in DayZ Commander.

If you want to play/test the betas, then you can get whitelisted on the Wireworld server and feedback any issues to the admin.

Be warned though, some of the builds contain bugs and issues which may impact on your enjoyment. Note that you won't

be able to get whitelisted for another week because Mac is on holiday.

That death screen is awesome ! These guys are really working hard on taking Alpha to the next level.

Here's a feature list from 13th January - probably safe to say that there'll be more than this as and when they finish new features.

[NEW] - Axes now have a small chance to fail due to them being blunt (others later) 9% Chance. ** Can still be used as weapon **

[NEW] - Matches can now run out (others later) 9% Chance. (at this time this is a random chance)

[NEW] - Knife will now have a chance to go blunt causing it to give less food from gutting animals 9% chance(Blunt), 50% less food(Guting)

[NEW] - Toolbox is now needed to build Wire,beartrap,tanktrap.

[NEW] - Etool is now needed to build Sandbags.

[NEW] - 4 New types of food models ("FoodmuttonCooked","FoodchickenCooked","FoodBaconCooked","HIDDEN").

[NEW] - 3 New Raw food models. ("FoodbaconRaw","FoodchickenRaw","FoodmuttonRaw")

[NEW] - Bloodbags now have a random infection chance.

[NEW] - You can no longer apply more then one bloodbag per 10 mins per player

[NEW] - 6 New items added to loot tables.

[REMOVED] - You can no longer regain blood from cooked food for 1 hour after eating. (ie spamming cooked meat to regain hp)

[uPDATED] - You can no longer consume food while your not hungry (within 3 mins of eating)

[uPDATED] - You can no longer drink while your not thirsty (within 3 mins of drinking)

[uPDATED] - Animal Meat reset. 2(Default),4(sheep),4(goat),4(boar),8(cow)

[uPDATED] - Much slower spawn rate for zeds

[FIXED] - Epeen monitor animation should now work correct without the fps drop.

[FIXED] - DZ_Czech_Vest_Puch backpack class config. (Warning Message: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgMagazines.DZ_Czech_Vest_Puch'.)

I like the new jump / forward roll to, so you can leap over fences whilst running.

99% chance of a broken neck and everything in your pack being broken with it, lol. Really hope this doesn't make it anywhere near the official mod.

without the pack, no problem. with a full pack, youd be so stupid you would never have survived the outbreak anyways.
