Graphics card issue, possible driver issues?

Recommended Posts

Whenever I join any server (or just play Arma, for that matter), occasionally, my game will freeze, the screen will go black, then tab me out. I can still move around and do actions, but I can't actually see the game itself. When I try and tab back in, it won't let me. I have no idea if it's a driver issue, or my game is just messing up, but it's kind of really annoying, and this is the only game I have a serious problem with.

System specs, game build ?

Nobody can help you if you do not give some form of information.

System specs: Intel i5 2310 processor, GTX 460 card, 8 GB DDR3, Windows 7 64-bit. I've gone through a bunch of drivers, and it hasn't really changed anything. Dunno what to do.

Try to update your drivers, Go to Nvidia.com try to search out your recent Driver (Recommend Build if possible) Run it, and click advanced, tick the Box for Fresh Install, Restart PC and I hope it should be fine after that.

When Not, Try to delete the Arma 2 and Arma 2 AO Folder in Documents, it might be some settings messed up. then start the game normally, when that doesnt work, let me know

Well it's not your material, so it must be something "system".

There are a few stress tests in the SP list.

Adjust your settings and see how it effects performance.

Vid mem set to default is the first thing to do.

Good luck.
