Hot Zones - logging out

Recommended Posts

It may have already been suggested but just-in-case.

Everyone is fed up of people logging in behind them when they're at the NWAF, Stary, Devil's etc.etc. so how about making such popular places hot zones where you cannot logout. You could even do the same for cities. Set a perimiter of say 200m from each hotzone.

This way if you've fought your way into the NWAF and are trying to 'hold' it you know for sure the enemy has to fight their way in rather than spawn in.

If you logout/Alt F4 or 'lose connection' in a hot zone it's simply an auto death.

What happens when your mom its yelling at you and you have to leave immediately?

I grew up and don't live with my mum...

But I will translate that for the adults... "What happens when your girlfriend/wife walks in in some kinky underwear, pulls your earphones off and drags you off to slip her a length"?

why not Zoidberg!?...no joking...but i don't know 10 to 15s latency before logging out would be enough for me.

or something like "Cannot logout while enemies nearby"

its a good step but I would like the need of a camping tent (the round ones) to logout since it makes sense. Ye ye it would make the game even harder... but maybe it would be more fun too

This actually fixes a lot of issues, such as people who server hop from loot spawns, and the times where you clear the barracks and someone spawns in behind you then proceeds to blow your spine out of your body. I do not agree for cities, but for areas such as the airfields and any other high loot areas in the future I think this is a great idea.

Sure, you can still server hop but you'd have to leave the NWAF AO and sneak back into the barracks, from outside the gates.
