I change terrain detail to very low and to very high, i dont see any difference. What is the terrain detail in DayZ?

Maybe your computer is not up to it, in which case setting details to high will bring your machine to its knees.

I can assure you that there is a difference between low & very high settings.

Well seeing as Chernarus terrain is mostly grass and some more grass, the most you would see is a few more wisps of grass.

I'm not sure which settings are locked on DayZ but a lot of the time settings like these are hard coded to not be changed because it gives an advantage in either direction. i.e. Seeing further because you have a better computer, or lowering settings so grass doesn't load at a certain distance so it's easier to see someone lying in it.

Ya I just tested that out I see a difference or unless your video card sucks I'm Running a Dual 7770 ASUS's
