It says I don't have the right version.

I'm just starting DayZ for the first time. When I click on any server except for a select few, it says I don't have the right version of that map/mod extension. It is very annoying and I really need help.

set your filters properly in commander. same versions etc

really should be able to do this yourself.

Many servers run different Arma patches and versions for the game. This will help you download and find the versions you desire.

OK. Thanks for that. I got that to work. But whenever I go to play a server it says "Bad version, server rejected connection" with every server and it takes me to the server list and I cant find the server I just clicked on DayZCommander

Make sure that everything is updated on DayZ Commander. Go to the Install/Update tab and make sure the ARMA 2 patch is up to date and that DayZ is up to date. When joining servers, you can only join the ones in white. The greyed out ones have the wrong version, or different from what you are running. You can sort out only the server you can play on by checking the "Hide Wrong Arma2 Version" and "Hide Wrong DayZ Version" on the left hand side.

I get this problem too. Some servers work and others don't
