Dayz DB

Recommended Posts

I'm having a problem with the dayz db site. Every time I go on the maps to check where the loot is, I cant zoom in. Yesterday I could zoom in and out and move around the map but every other days I just can't.. Anyone having the same problem?

Try install a different internet browser and see if that bears any improvement - I'm not getting any problems myself when using Chrome.

Nice map, nice system but really takes away from the game imho. What's the fun if you know where everything will be? To me, exploration is half the fun.

Different strokes I suppose.

Exactly! Finding the in-game map is better than just googling it and finding one in a second with all the loot on it. What fun is that?

Well since I'm already at a disadvantage by playing alone, having some sort of help is very much appreciated. Knowing the locations of military targets and industrial buildings saves me time, its not because I know where something is, that I will automatically have a great weapon.. It just saves time.

I hardly believe any of us play this game to "save time". But with that said, I do use the map myself, not as much for loot as I do use it as a readable map, but I still do use it. But I used it exstensively for loot back in the day when I could never figure out what houses were enterable, it seemed to me that only one out of a hundred houses were enterable and even struggled finding them in Cherno before I knew what to look for.
