Adding Research labs and qurrantine zones

Adding reserch labs and qurrantine zones in parts of the day map. Rocket can add these buildings in areas that require more experience and better gear to explore.

These building can be entered and explore and would allow the player to get better gears or loots or even crafting materials.

These areas will be filled with smokey clouds that will deal damage to players if they stay in the area for too long and the way to avoid health deduction is to wear a gas mask.

These areas should have some really scary and dangerous mobs that will make the players scared but the reward may be greater and worth it.

( they can add faster mobs that deals more damage to players and they can have the ability to climb walls but they are sensative to lights , dealing damage to them when they are exposed to lights. During the day , sun light cannot penetrate the thick mist and there will be an errie atmoaphere in that area. )

They should add weapon customization or vehicle into the game and the parts can be found in some areas of the map.

Loots in these zones should be rewarding as risking all of your gears to go into that area may result in death for the inexperienced.

So what do u guys think ?

I like the idea of make-shift research/medical faciliies which could be found in states much like the Military Camp at Stary Sobor.

Spawn more medically related loot and a few weapons and that, but it'd not only create extra loot spots, but also additional atmosphere.

liked the idea in general but i hope its not gonna be "dungeon" like , and for better zombies not faster but uglier/larger and stronger as you said, you got my beans m8 good thought .

the core idea of Adding research labs and quarantine zones to the map is a nice one

but the suggestions on the way they work is just bad

"These areas will be filled with smokey clouds that will deal damage to players if they stay in the area for too long and the way to avoid health deduction is to wear a gas mask."

go and play metro or stalker. the idea of having to wear a gas mask in some arias in not a bad idea but having the quarantine zones dose not fit. maybe some research labs or oil refinery's, chemical plaints ect. would be fitting but it would need to be in places where fumes and chemical spills could (and probably would in this situation) happen

no just no MORE zombies like ALOT more, would work

but climbing walls this is not alien there not really even zombies they are living infected humans. It is a virus or parasite NOT magic we can do anything we want plot filler (the t virus anyone)

"they are sensitive to lights , dealing damage to them when they are exposed to light" err why? one of the best things about this game it that zeds are ATTRACTED to lights what possible reason would a virus do this. they may have light sensitive eyes but to take damage no there not vampires or the things from afraid of the dark

using a torch/flair should be a risk not something that gives a reword (except for you know- light)

btw i do like the idea of having "high atmosphere arias"

I personally think that this could potentially create a different armosphere as most people are not even reall scared of the zombies and these people are more afraid of mountain dews and green mountain.

The new zombies should have the effect of someone breathing drown your back when they are approching the player.

This will allow the player to react in time and look out for the zombies and the player may try to estimate the numbers of zombies approching him. If he is new and hve no experience , this maybe a nasty shock to him.

If it is possible , may be the lab can be 3x the complexity of a typical industrial factory.

Hehe watch too much 'i am legend'

The reason why i think that they should be able to climb walls is the fact that more players are just camping in loot spots , waiting for a kill or better item spawns and some times , their rifle is pointed at the door for 30 mins straight . Having the ability to climb will give the zombies the edge if they detect the camper.

The reason why they should be scared of light is that powerful mobs require a weakness and a power cap.

These mobs should be able to detect noise from a further distance but when the player points his flash light at them they will disperse. ( player can only equipe a torch or a rifle give the exception of the shotgun with the flashligh attached to it. )

Flares in this area will be less effective and will go off quicker to prevent overusage of them.

i like the ideas. maybe they could have radioactive zones and to enter these areas without getting radiation poisoning and dieing you would have to find a radiation suite.

What this guy said. The OP has the right general idea but the sub ideas are flawed and silly. Gas clouds?? Are you suggesting having anomalies?

Where would all this radiation come from? I don't think there should be random radiation. This isn't The Exclusion Zone around Chernobyl.

If you want radiation please explain why it would be there and how it would help the game

An area that requires a greater skill level to enter/survive in sounds good to me. It could give advanced players a better option than camping Cherno once fully kitted out.
