250+ vehicles and Max vehicles?

Recommended Posts

Basically means more than the normal spawn, I assume. Like 250 vehicles plus the normal ones? Max Vehicles is a toughie, since there seem to be an unlimited amount you can put in. I've seen servers that say they have 1000 vehicles. It's hellish. Don't play on those if you want an DayZ experience as it should be.

It means they've modified their server so WAY more vehicles spawn everywhere. In normal default DayZ vehicles are rare and sought/fought after.

I personally think it's kind of cheesy when vehicles are everywhere. It takes away the novelty of finding or seeing one.

If you want the real DayZ experience, then you need to play on servers with less than 100 vehicles. 250 vehicles means you'll have one working within 30 minutes of spawning, and then you can drive everywhere, which isn't what the game is about.

Max vehicles corresponds to the maximum amount of vehicles possible on the map at any one time, 250 is a lot. That can entail several choppers and planes. A normal DayZ server would have a Helicopter limit of 1 for example.

Most of the Taviana servers have this settings. That makes playing that map so much different from Chernarus ones.

Many tiimes I've been driving along a road and crossing with another vehicle in the opposite direction. And we both just accelerate with no further action. That's a little strange situation in a zombie apocalipse xD
