alright so i keep running into this problem.

- I even re-installed twice

- Ran as admin for steam and arma 2 OA

- I can verify the game cache for amra 2 but not OA

- I Went into regedit to "Try" to solve this problem but everything in there is fine.

- I can play online on arma 2 but still i run into the Bad Serial Code everytime for OA.

- All my games work expect OA basically

Personally i think its that i need to verify the game cache for arma 2 OA but it just wont let me. Steam Allows me to use and verify any other games but not OA. Yes i have windows 8 because i just recently built my pc but it has worked for 4 weeks till now.It would be nice if someone could reply to this post and help me out because i am not going to re-install Arma for the 50th time in a row and do regedit again. If i have to i will make a video of whats wrong.

have you tried loading steam in admin mode and verify your cache from there is the oa serial that dayz uses so you need to be able to verify the cache that removes the serial from the reg and then start the game to the main menu that puts it in nice and fresh both of these must be done in admin

Yes i have but it gets stuck at 0% and doesn't do anything. Even if i do get it get to validate the files under admin and run OA as admin i still get this Error

Yeah i tried that but i keep getting this Error

"Cannot delete ArmA 2 Oa; Error While deleting key"

What if i edit the key to be my key with what i bought from Steam??

if you know the binary version of your key go for it have you set permissions of the folder in regedit so you can edit it

I am in a computer class and learned about binary but i don't know how to do that for regedit.

Sadly tho I even logged into my other account that has it ( bought it because my new PC couldn't get into my other account a while back but that is off topic).

I even installed it on that account and my main account. Its showing that my key is all "0" nothing else... So i am just a little bit confused now

That's the problem. I can delete the first folder like in the video say's so but the second Bohemia interactive folder is giving me this error " Cannot delete ArmA 2 OA: Error while deleting"

right click and set the permissions of the folder so you can do what you like with it
