Loot cycling question

I have a question regarding loot cycling. Loot cycling is when you take everything out of like a barracks, into a junk pile and the loot respawns. I want to know if it still works, because I heard a rumor it's fixed, and also, if it's very frowned upon. With some research on it it seems less frowned upon than server hopping, which I won't do.

In my eyes it is technically an exploit of the game mechanics to advance your own standing in game. I try to avoid it, but seeing as no one seems to care unless it's severely overdone (a clan has 10+ as50s and ghillie suits from farming), I'll do it in cases where I need a wheel and cannot leave the area at risk of losing the car im reparing.

Basically, I think its pretty much overlooked by admins and other players alike if you're doing it for something you need, like a ghillie suit or specific gun. If you can avoid it, do, but if you need to for some reason, I suppose it's okay. It's just alpha, and it's just a game. There are far worse exploits. As far as I see it, it's just another aspect of the "MMO" part of the game.

It still works yes , but as50's are heli-crashspawn only so you can't get that weapon by loot cycling nor the AS-50 Nato rounds.

M107 is a spawn but extremely rare.

Yes it still works and only the "purist" get pissy about it, but then they hate anything that might give other players any kind of enjoyment from the game. No one else really cares.

In my honest opinion if you can hold down a barracks at the airfield for long enough to get what you want go for your life. I get kind of upset when people do it on empty servers though, then it become straight up cheating.
