Fx_Rayz 0 Posted January 11, 2013 Today I was in a server and a hacker teleported me and everyone who else was in the game to a point and then from there i aborted. later that day when i tried to join the server i kept getting an error that said "Bad Serial Number Given At Start". why am i getting this? and how can i fix it? chris_heyward 47 Posted January 12, 2013 A hacker could not have done this. This is a problem on your end. A little Google-Fu says that you can try running the program as admin and verifying your cache via steam (i do not use steam so cannot verify if that is correct) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
AmberHelios 2071 Posted January 12, 2013 close steamstart steam in admin (right click and run as administrator) right click on arma2 and properties then local files click on verify integrity of game cache <-- this removes the cdkey from the reg and do the same for arma2 oarun arma2 to the menu <--- this puts the cd key in the reg so you get a clean insert run arma2 oa to the menu click in expansions make sure the following are enabled arma2arma2 oa arma2 baf litearma2 pmc liteif not enable them and restart then exit the game Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
