I got globally banned. What now?

Recommended Posts

Hey there.

Last night, I got into a fight with a hacker. He was using an AS50AWS.

After I killed him, and looted his gear, I took his helli, and went to NWAF.

A couple of mins after, I got kicked off the server.

Big deal, right?

Then when I try to join back, I got a message telling me I got globally banned.

What do I do now?

Tried another server?

It is impossible for you to get a global ban for picking up scriped gear.

You contact Battleye, we don't deal with bans here, there's nothing we can do. It's impossible to get banned for picking up gear and it's VERY rare for them to reverse a ban, usually it's a result of hacking/scripting or downloading dodgy software and getting your key stolen.

Now you suffer the consequences for using banned weapons, even though you should have been completely aware of what you were doing considering you were arguing about banned weapons.

Real shame you only got a global account ban. Be better if they had actually IP and/or hardware banned you as well.

Yes I tried several servers.

I might have downloaded some stuff related to Arma 2 but nothing related to hacks..

Do I now need to re buy Arma 2 CO for my steam?

Or do I need to open a brand new steam...?

Taltal - You have an account with "Multiplayer Game Hacking". The address matches via your IP so it's pretty obvious you've been up to no good. Don't bother contacting Battleye, they won't help you or reverse the ban.

Google is you friend now.
